Sound Workshop by Mr. Von Baron

Our Grade 1 learners had a truly memorable experience participating in a special workshop conducted by Mr. Von Baron, a professional artist. The children were introduced to the fascinating world of sound and enjoyed learning through both discussion and hands-on activities. During the workshop, the learners explored important sound concepts such as vibration, frequency, and sound waves. They listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and began to understand how sound is created and how it travels. It was wonderful to see them using new technical vocabulary with growing confidence. The Grade 1s also had the chance to play simple musical instruments, which made the workshop even more exciting. As they experimented with different sounds, they discovered how instruments can produce different tones and how sounds can be combined to make music. They worked together beautifully and showed great enthusiasm throughout the activity. One of the highlights of the session was when the learners created a synchronous tone of a simple melody. This gave them the opportunity to experience the joy of making music together as a group. The classroom was filled with energy, curiosity, and creativity as the children explored sound in such an engaging way. It was a lovely learning experience that blended science, music, and art in a meaningful way. We are so proud of our Grade 1 learners for their participation, enthusiasm, and wonderful listening skills during this special workshop.
