In class, we began exploring the concept of adaptation, focusing on how living things survive and thrive in different environments. To help students connect with the idea, we first discussed how humans also adapt to various situations in everyday life. Students were presented with four different scenarios and asked to think about how they would respond if they encountered each one.
After reflecting on their ideas, students participated in a Pair-Share activity where they discussed their responses with a classmate. It was interesting for them to discover how their answers differed, highlighting that people can adapt in unique ways depending on their perspectives and experiences.
