In Unit, we explored different products found in Japan. We looked into the places or areas that produce the best of each product. An example is Hokkaido as the producer of the best melons in Japan. We also discussed how products are transported from one place to another, and how they are preserved to keep them fresh.
This week we explored processed and unprocessed foods. This opened up their minds about what processed foods are and how processing foods can be beneficial or dangerous to us.
Next we will explore importation and exportation of goods in and outside the country.
