How to be a mini farmer?

This week, as part of our finding out stage in out unit on Farm to Table, Grade 1s were given the chance to plant and take care of a vegetable fo their choice: Lettuc or Spinach. They used the PET bottles as their pots, added soil, placed the seeds as evenly as they could, watered the soil and seeds and kept them under the sun. We are excited to see how the vegetables will grow well under our care.
